Retail Store Manager

Supervises:             Retail Assistant Manager; Retail Sales Lead; Retail Sales Associates

 

Position summary: Hires, motivates, coaches and develops the store team and is responsible for delivering exceptional sales and service to every T-Mobile customer.

 

Qualifications required:

  • High school diploma with four (4) years of retail experience, an associate’s degree with two (2) years of retail experience, or a  bachelor’s degree
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

 

Qualifications desired:

  • Consultative sales and sales management experience in a customer-focused and operationally excellent retail environment or in fields involving consumer technology, applications and content
  • Employee management experience
  • Operational and financial performance management skills especially in profit and loss management

 

Essential functions and responsibilities:

  • Recruits, develops, motivates and manages a high-performing team
  • Ensures that individual and team sales goals are met or exceeded
  • Provides coaching on consultative sales and service on the sales floor during retail hours which includes evenings and weekends
  • Keeps abreast of the rapidly evolving T-Mobile standards and technology
  • Ensures the store remains audit-compliant based on T-Mobile and Verge Mobile standards
  • Ensures effective and efficient store operations
  • Implements the company’s processes and procedures
