Job Title: Retail Store Manager
Reports to: District Manager
Supervises: Retail Assistant Manager; Retail Sales Lead; Retail Sales Associates
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position summary: Hires, motivates, coaches and develops the store team and is responsible for delivering exceptional sales and service to every T-Mobile customer.
High school diploma with four (4) years of retail experience, an associate’s degree with two (2) years of retail experience, or a bachelor’s degree
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Consultative sales and sales management experience in a customer-focused and operationally excellent retail environment or in fields involving consumer technology, applications and content
Employee management experience
Operational and financial performance management skills especially in profit and loss management
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Recruits, develops, motivates and manages a high-performing team
Ensures that individual and team sales goals are met or exceeded
Provides coaching on consultative sales and service on the sales floor during retail hours which includes evenings and weekends
Keeps abreast of the rapidly evolving T-Mobile standards and technology
Ensures the store remains audit-compliant based on T-Mobile and Verge Mobile standards
Ensures effective and efficient store operations
Implements the company’s processes and procedures
Performs other related duties as assigned
